Being originally from the Great Lakes state of Michigan, Moira fell in love with traveling after doing a volunteer program in South America in 2017. This ignited in her a strong interest in her to explore the world and gain perspective. After extensive travel experience that included learning new cultures and languages, Moira discovered the right career path for her was motivated by her passion. She thrives in any environment where she can connect with people from all around the world. Her wanderlust brought her up to the wilderness of Alaska for a seasonal job in 2018 which inevitably stole her heart. She has pursued working in sales and marketing with tour operators in the Alaska tourism industry since then, and is thrilled to have joined the ABAK team in April 2025, sharing her boundless enthusiasm for Alaska’s nature and wildlife. When she’s not in the ABAK warehouse, you can likely find her on a trail or on the pickleball court.
