Get away from the crowds and on the water for spectacular views and marine wildlife!  Our passenger van transports you to a paddling location north of downtown Juneau.  Your guide(s) choose a kayak launch location based on tides, weather, and the best chances of seeing wildlife for the day.

nce you have been outfitted with gear your guide will inform you will be transported to the chosen launch site off of the mainland shore.  Prior to getting in the water all groups will be given a safety briefing that includes information on potentials hazards, capsize prevention, proper paddling techniques, and what to do in the event of capsizing.

The scenic paddling locations we have access to are endless offering opportunities to see humpback whales, sea lions, seals, porpoises, eagles and other marine birds, intertidal marine life, and the occasional orca whale or bear. Unfortunately, it is called wildlife for a reason and sightings, while common, cannot be guaranteed.  However, it doesn’t stop there. Be prepared to take in the beauty of glaciers off in the distance, waterfalls, and the majestic mountains of the Chilkat and Coast Ranges.

While the scenery and wildlife were awesome, our guides narrative on the history of Juneau, coupled with both of their love of nature and the outdoors made this a highlight of our overall Alaska experience.
